What technology does Fractional CO₂ use?

Fractional CO₂ lasers perform exfoliation by considering water molecules as the target tissue and by creating microscopic thermal injury zones in the skin. In this method, due to the existence of healthy tissue between these zones, the repair is done faster and minimizes side effects.

In addition to exfoliation, generating heat in the vicinity of the injury zones increases the rate of cell regeneration and stimulates collagen production, which is why it is much more effective than other exfoliation systems. Fractional lasers are used in both stamped and scanned forms. In stamping systems, all the injury zones are created in the skin at one time.

In scanning systems, by scanners containing two very sensitive and precise motors, each of which has a mirror with a very high reflection coefficient, injury zones are created sequentially in the skin according to the settings. The quality of these motors and the mirror inside the scanner have a great impact on reducing the risk of side effects and increasing the effectiveness, and at the same time, by using different radiation patterns, it is possible to treat many lesions.
