What technology does Ellisys use?

Ellisys uses RF fractional needling technology, which is one of the most effective rejuvenation techniques. In this technique, radiofrequency waves are inserted directly into the reticular dermis from 0.5 to 3.5 mm, by a number of microneedles according to their penetration depth, and radiofrequency current is established through the needles into the skin. The mechanism of action of radiofrequency current is the production of heat due to the electrical vibration of water and ionized molecules in the tissue. The heat generated by RF has immediate and delayed effects. One of the most important delay effects is collagen renaturation.

What is collagen renaturation?

The high power of the device causes the skin temperature to rise to about 40-60°C. This temperature breaks the hydrogen and hydrophobic bonds between the collagen peptides and opens the collagen protein helix. For a better and more efficient result, a temperature of 55-60°C is required. To achieve this temperature, a strong system with very advanced technology and design is required. After the skin cools, hydrogen and hydrophobic bonds re-form and the primary structural protein returns to the secondary and tertiary structure. This results in a complete renaturation of the collagen; Poor-quality collagens are converted into collagen with maximum biological power.
